The reconstructed Railway station of Parvomay Will be Presented to the Public

The reconstructed railway station of Parvomay will be presented to the public on first of May, 2006 at 10.15. The President of the Republic of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov, the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev, deputies, The district governor of Plovdiv Todor Petkov, the mayor of the town Angel Papazov will attend the opening .

The reception hall of the railway station Parvomay has been built in 1920. The Building is a solid construction with two floors. The first of them consist of office rooms, in the second one there are  lodgings. The built-up area is 733 square meters.

The renovation of the reception room consist in repair of the reception room façade, as well the thermal insulation, painting and joinery of all office rooms, lodgings, and toilets. 

A central heating installation has been built in the building of the railway station, which serves the reception room, and is worked by natural gas. Unhindered access for persons with disabilities has been also ensured.
