Minister Mutafchiev will be Patron of the International Port Conference

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev will be Patron of the international conference on the theme “The Roll of the Ports as a key factor for an economical growth”. It will take place on November 16th and 17th, 2006 in Europe hall of the metropolitan “Prince” hotel. Promoters of the forum are Executive Agency “Port Administration” and the SE “Port Infrastructure”. The conference will be officially opened at 9.30am. The Director-General of “Navigation Maritime Bulgare” Hristo Donev, The head of the “Association of the Bulgarian Private Ports” Zlatko Bakalov, representatives of the IAPA territorial directorates, the territorial units of DPPI, of the branch organizations, the guidance of the port operators of Burgas, Varna, Vidin, Lom and Ruse. Foreign lecturers will be Patrick Verhoven, Secretary-General of the Organization of the European seaports (ESPO), Georgij Tokman, Director-Executive of the black sea and azovian ports association (BASPA), Christian DuPont from the EU Commission, Konstantin Dolmas, Secretary-General of the International Association of the Dragger Companies (IADC), international safety experts, from the US coast guard, representatives of the port authorities from Konstanz, Potty, Batumi, Antwerp, Hamburg and Rostock.
