Sofia Airport is host of the “Intra Regional Route Development Forum – 2007”. It will take place from 13 to 15 May in hotel “Kempinski - Zografski”.

The edition of the World Route Development Forum, this year, is targeting especially the low cost and the regional air companies, as well as the airports on the territory of whole Europe.

On Mart 14, 2007 in Kyoto hall a press conference will take place, with the participation of the Chief Director of GD “CAA” Zachary Aleksiev and the Director Executive of Sofia Airport Plamen Stanchev.

We would like to remind you that:

The International Aviation Forum ROUTES is an event with 12 years history. It gives the opportunity for useful meeting between the representatives of the air companies and the airports, for exchange of ideas for the development of new air routes.

The global edition of the forum takes place annually in September, gathering together aviation managers from all over the world. The last one took place in Dubai in September 2006 with the participation of more than 2000 delegates.

Four years ago took place the first regional forum ROUTES in Asia, and since 2006 such meetings are being carried out in Europe and Africa. Their accent is put on the development of the intra-continental and regional air connections.

The first forum in Europe took place in May 2006 at the airport Warsaw. The airport in Sofia is the second host of the prestigious event.
