There are no Signals for Incidents with Bulgarian Carriers in Serbia

21.03.2008

Till now there are no signals received in the Ministry of Transport as well as in the EA "Automobile Administration" for incidents with Bulgarian carriers in Serbia. The boarder crossing to Serbia is normal. All necessary measures which are part of the competency of the administration have been taken, in order to facilitate the traffic on the boundaries with Serbia and Rumania.

The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev held conversations with representatives of the branch organizations in the field of the international automobile transportations and informed them about the measures taken by the ministry. The branch organizations promised to give information for signals received on the telephone lines, especially opened for that reason.

A meeting with the heads of the Ferryboat complexes in Vidin and Oriahovo also took place. They promised to increase the ferryboat capacity if necessary, and expressed their willingness to increase the administrative capacity of the boarder officials, in order to manage the traffic quickly.

EA "Automobile Administration" is keeping track on the transport situation in Serbia and is ready to inform the Bulgarian carriers, in case of problems, as well as to render assistance as far as possible.
