The Automobile Branch in One United Organization

With the participation of the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev, the Deputy Minister of Transport Georgi Petarneichev and representatives of four automobile branch organizations (BASAT, SOAT, AEBTRI and the Association of the International Carriers) today was founded officially the Confederation of the Associations from the Automobile Transport (KSAT). This was the last step from the unifying process of the automobile branch in one united organization. During the event Minister Mutafchiev expressed his satisfaction from the unification. "This will be a great advantage for the formation of unified national policy in the automobile branch. With the creation of the confederation we will have the possibility to fulfill the engagement which we undertook, to delegate certain functions to the branch. These are functions, which are allowed by the European directives and will be given with the change of the normative base. Thus the branch will have more active role in the elimination of the problems in the field of the automobile branch. The government will continue to control the processes and to create the regulation frames." For additional information:
