Passengers, Visitors and the Citizens of Sofia Will Enjoy the New Park near the Airport of Sofia

The new park near the Airport of Sofia was inaugurated today by the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev and the Director-Executive of the airport Plamen Stanchev. During the ceremony Minister Mutafchiev expressed his gratitude to all participants in this project. He said that the building of the park has been accomplished in time and the Ministry of Transport has absorbed all the means allocated for this project. In his opinion the place is suitable for the citizens of Sofia and the guests of the city to enjoy their spare time. Minister Mutafchiev defined the infrastructure as impressive. All other projects should be accomplished in time, as this happened with the landscape of the airport of Sofia wished Minister Mutafchiev to the Executive Body of the Ministry of Transport. The project has been financed with means from the Cohesion Fund. Executor of the construction works is the company "Roads and Bridges" EOOD, and the supervisor is the group "Mixconsult" OOD - "Armstroyinvest" EOOD. The landscape system is situated on 365 000 quadrate meter, improved with suitable vegetation and diverse architectural forms. It has integrated park environment, amphitheater and a nice pond. Alley network with one length of 2000m has been also built for the visitors. For additional information:
