MTITC edited a postage stamp on the occasion of 125 years from the formation of 9-th infantry regiment of Plovdiv

The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications put into use a postage stamp, dedicated to 125 years from the formation of 9-th infantry regiment of Plovdiv.
The edition contains one postage stamp and a special postage seal. Its face values is 0,65 levs and is printed in 12 000 copies. The artist of the project is Simeon Krastev.
9-th infantry regiment of Plovdiv was set up in 1885 in Plovdiv and received its first battle flag in 1886. The regiment took part in the Balkan War, the Second Balkan War, World War I and the World War II. |
