Minister Tsvetkov inaugurated a youth school for off-road pilots

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Aleksandar Tsvetkov inaugurated a youth school for training of beginning off-road pilots in the village of Dalbok Dabnik near Troyan on February 20 (Sunday) 2011. The formation of the youth school is an initiative of Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov. The organization of the event was realized by the Bulgarian participant in Rally Race “Dakar 2011” – Todor Hristov.

During the event Minister Aleksandar Tsvetkov advised parents who wish to provide their children ATV machines, in the first place to care for their training because the ATV driving is dangerous. In similar youth schools the children will not only learn the driving skills but also they will acquire habits for discipline and tolerance that will be necessary them as a participants in the road traffic, said Minister Tsvetkov.

Within two days, the children and the youths from the youth school to club “Adventure” Troyan will be trained by leading Bulgarian pilots of ATV, motorcycles and 4x4 automobiles, among which is Todor Hristov. The participants in the course will examine the types of competitions, the regulations, how to render first aid, the technical requirements, the theoretical preparation for navigation, the secure control and practical range studies.

Participants from all the country – Ruse, Silistra, Sofia, Bourgas, Targovishte, Veliko Tarnovo had registered themselves in the school. The youngest participant is 10 years old and is from Sliven.

This year the school classes are held every month and will be free for children. Club “Adventure” will provide the best teachers and medical insurance during the classes.
