Korean IT technologies for the Bulgarian e-Government will be used in a training centre

The Korean know-how will assist the development of the Bulgarian e-Government. That is provided by the Work Plan of the Information Technology Cooperation Centre that was established after a signing in 2010 of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications and the Ministry of Public Administration and Security of the Republic of Korea. The cooperation between the two countries in the area of the e-Government was discussed at a symposium, attend by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Parvan Rusinov, the ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Bulgaria Chun Bee-ho and experts in the area of the e-Government.

In 2011 in the centre will be developed a pilot system for modern infrastructure of the e-Government, a technological framework for e-services, an investigation and recommendation of good practices.

The Bulgarian-Korean Centre will be managed by a board of managers with representatives of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science, the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and Korean experts. An Advisory Council is established to the Centre in which are included experts of the administration, academic circles and branch organizations.
