Two postage stamps on topic “Europe 2011 – a year of the forests” have been put into circulation

The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications put into circulation two postage stamps and an illustrated envelope on topic “Europe 2011 – a year of the forests”. All European countries will issue a postage-philatelic product under the common motto.
Artist of the project is Viktor Paunov. He has represented the Bulgarian forest in conjunction with the traditional inhabitants – hind and woodcock.
The nominal value of the stamps is 0.65 lv. and 1.50 lv. The issue is printed in 32 000 copies.
