One of the oldest post offices in Sofia opened after reconstruction

One of the oldest post offices in Sofia, the one in "Lavov Most", was opened today after a major reconstruction. The first visitors to the renovated office were the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Georgi Todorov, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Transport, Information Technology and Communications Georgei Svilenski, the CEO of "Bulgarian Posts" Valentin Petkov, union representatives at the company and the media.
The post office serves residents, businesses and institutions in one of the busiest areas of the city – Lavov Most, said Deputy Minister Georgi Todorov during the opening. This Bulgarian Posts provides services to approximately 40,000 citizens from the area between boulevard "Hristo Botev", the Central Station and "Freight Station", he added.
Deputy Minister Todorov said that this is the thirty-second post office, which was completely renovated last year. During this period 15 auxiliary offices of "Bulgarian Posts" were opened, one of which is at the Danube bridge for the sale vignettes. Mr. Georgi Todorov said that in the months ahead completely renovated post offices will be opened in Smolyan, Shumen, Stara Zagora, Varna and Burgas. |
