Minister Papazov opened a reconstructed post office in Burgas

"Bulgarian Posts" are even closer to its customers in Burgas, said the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov at the opening of the reconstructed office of the company in the city. 

This is the thirty-third reconstructed post office of the company for the past 12 months, said Minister Papazov. He stressed that the investment is motivated by encouraging financial performance of the district post office in the city. In the first quarter of 2014 revenues from hybrid mail have increased by 64%, the number parcels has increased by 43% and 16% more vignettes have been sold. There is an increase of 12% in revenues from the universal postal service, while the sale of stamps has increased by 20%. 

At the renovated office, the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Danail Papazov awarded the winners in the contest "My first letter", which was dedicated to the 135th anniversary of “Bulgarian Posts" EAD. One hundred twenty-seven children from the city participated in the competition. Minister Papazov presented awards for the most interesting letters to the students who had been selected by the jury - Teodora Georgieva, Katerina Tzaneva and Iveta Ovtcharova.

The first-grader Evangelina Trendafilova read a poem written by the poet Petya Stoyanova, which is dedicated to the profession of the mailman. The pupil presented the text to Minister Papazov, and he in turn will order and present to the little schoolgirl a personalized stamp.
