Minister Nikolina Angelkova held meeting with syndicate organizations of the railway sector

For me it is essential to continue the good cooperation and work in the spirit of open and honest dialogue with all social partners. The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Nikolina Angelkova stated this, today during a meeting with representatives of trade unions in the railway sector.
Minister Anglekova held talks with Peter Bunev of the Syndicate of the railway workers in Bulgaria to Confederation of independent trade unions, Rosen Zarkov of the Federation of Transport Workers and Zorincho Yordanov of the National railroad union to CL "Podkrepa".
I believe that together we will find the best solutions for the development of the two railway companies in Bulgaria, said Minister Angelkova, adding that "the dispute gives birth to the truth" and she will rely on the unions. She said that the railway sector should be maintained in a stable condition, while more efforts should be made to attract more passengers and cargo.
Union representatives stated that they traditionally work together with the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications to resolve problematic issues. Participants in the meeting shared the opinion that a balanced social dialogue is the basis of good relations, to maintain equality and understanding between the parties.
There are 20 469 employee members of trade unions in the National Company "Railway Infrastructure" and "Holding BDZ". |
