Minister Angelkova appoints a new Executive Director of Executive Agency "Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River"

The caretaker Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Nikolina Angelkova appointed Pavlin Tsonev the Executive Director of Executive Agency "Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River". The order shall enter into force as of tomorrow, August 28, 2014.
Pavlin Tsonev graduated from Naval Academy "Nikola Vaptzarov" - Varna as an engineer-navigator. In 1994 he graduated Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rousse "Angel Kunchev". Pavlin Tsonev began his career in 1981 as an officer in the Navy. In 1987 he joined "Khan Kubrat" AD as an engineer, and in 1992 he became CEO of the company. From 1996 to 2011 he was the captain of a ship with Bulgarian River Shipping AD. From 2011 to 2013 Pavlin Tsonev was an Executive Director of Executive Agency "Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River".
Starting today, Desislava Dimitrova is to replace Svetoslav Mitchev as a member of the Board of State Company "Port Infrastructure".
Desislava Dimitrova graduated from the University of National and World Economy - Sofia, successively obtaining a bachelor’s degree in "Economics of Transport", a master degree in "Marketing" and a master degree in "International Economic Relations". From 2010 to 2012 she graduated a program for leadership development at the University of Sheffield (The University of Sheffield, CITY College, Executive education center). From 2002 to the present day, she has held various management positions at Mobiltel EAD. From 2000 to 2002 she was Head of "Transport and Logistics" Unit at Leon TRANS.
Assoc. Georgi Dimitrov was appointed a new member the Managing Board of SE "Air Traffic Control". He replaced Anton Djadjev.
Georgi Dimitrov holds a degree in Law from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and a PhD in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Georgi Dimitrov has a rich teaching career. He is currently an associate professor at the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies - Sofia and the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Laboratory of Computer Virology - Sofia. He teaches at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ", The Technical University - Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo University "St. Cyril and Methodius", Training Center for Lawyers “Krystju Tsonchev”. Since 1993 he has professional experience in the field of legal services. He is a member of several international professional organizations, as well as various expert structures. He has also participated in the preparation of a number of legislative projects. He is the author and co-author of monographic works, books, articles and publications in the field of law and information technology. |
