Deputy Minister Anton Ginev awarded one of the winners of the Annual Awards for Road Safety

The Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications, Anton Ginev, awarded the winner in the category of the Annual Awards for Road Safety. The event was held today at the Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan.
The contest "Annual Road Safety Awards" was held for the fourth consecutive year. The main purpose of the event is to encourage the efforts of people fighting to save lives on the roads in Bulgaria.
This year's awards were given in six categories – "Road safety initiatives by non-governmental organizations"; "Road safety initiatives by companies and corporations"; "Road safety initiatives by government institutions and local administrations"; "Journalist materials, press releases, journalists, media programs and media reflecting road safety problems"; "Initiatives for road safety from kindergartens and schools - a special award given by the National Association Vocational training and qualification" and "Special Prize of the employee of traffic police”, a personal contribution (prevented the accident or been involved in the rescue of victims of traffic accidents or has helped such people). |
