Minister Ivaylo Moskovski ordered an immediate inspection because of today's accident

The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski ordered an immediate inspection of transport companies in connection with today's traffic accident between a van and a truck.
Inspectors of EA "Automobile Administration" will start a complex examination of company "Municipal passenger transport - Gabrovo", which owns the van that transported passengers and of "Zarini", the operator of the truck. Both companies will be thoroughly checked for the presence of all necessary documents related to the implementation of the transport service. The organization of work in both companies, as well as the presence of passed technical inspection of vehicles, tachnographs, driver licenses and all the paperwork needed for transportation of passengers and cargo will also be checked.
We remind you that today at 17.45 h. was received a signal for traffic accident on the road between Sevlievo and Gabrovo in the area at the junction of motopolygon by the village of Gorna Rositsa. By initial estimates of the Ministry of Interior, a minibus "Ford Transit" with 7 passengers onboard got hit by a freight automobile, deviated from the road and overturned. The driver was killed on the spot and all seven passengers were injured, one of them is in serious medical condition. All victims immediately had received medical attention. |
