Faulty locking mechanism cause for the emergency landing of the government "Falcon"

A faulty locking mechanism of the nose landing gear was the cause of the emergency landing of the government aircraft "Falcon" two days ago in Varna. Following the necessary checks and tests of the aircraft the staff of Air Detachment 28 after reported the cause. The conclusion of the experts is that the fault occurred mid-air at the time of retraction of the gear.
Air Detachment 28 have already informed the Swiss company and manufacturer, who have a contract for maintenance and servicing of the aircraft. The government "Falcon" is to be repaired and after completion of all necessary tests to be put into operation.
The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski will present the Prime Minister with the status of the airplane, and a technical and financial evaluation on its use for state tasks will be carried out. |
