MTITC is with a 97.6 rating in a research of the "Access to Information" Programme

The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications ranked second in a research, via evaluation of the websites and electronic submission of applications to the administrative structures within the system of the executive power, carried out by the "Access to Information" Programme.

MTITC is with a 97.6 rating for active transparency in the sector of the central authorities of the executive power. The aim of the research which "Access to Information" is carrying out since 2010, is to assess how the authorities fulfill their obligations under the Access to Public Information Act (APIA) and other regulations related to publishing of information on the Internet and how they respond to the requests for access electronically.

The focus of the research in 2016 is on the APIA amendments from December 2015 and on the new obligations for active publishing of information on the Internet which they introduce.

In the period 10 March - 23 April 2016 "Access to Information" has reviewed and assessed 565 websites of administrative structures of the executive power at central, regional and local level, public entities obliged to provide information and independent authorities. Within the research have been submitted 565 electronic applications for providing a copy of the Act which regulates the organization of the document circulation in the relevant institution.
