Top IT companies support the Career Day

Top companies from IT and telecommunications sector are partners of the Ministry оf Transport, Information Technologies and Communications during the ICT Career Day that will be held on 17th May 2016 at the National Palace of Culture. The initiative is dedicate to the International Day of Telecommunications and Information Society.

Students and also 10th, 11th and 12th grade pupils, interested in future career in the field of information and communication technologies, will be personally aquainted with managers who are looking for young talents and who prepare competitions for interns and new employees.

The companies will identify their expectations for job applicants, as well as recommendations on what the young people should focus on. From 10 am to 16 pm on 17th May (Tuesday) 2016, the IT companies are going to present free internships and job positions and will provide information for the training of candidates that will be needed. Some of the companies will give a chance to the most active participants to do tests, to deal with problems and issues. This will put the students and the pupils in a situation similar to the actual one of interviews that are conducted in the companies.

Alongside with the individual conversations, presentations of the companies are expected. Employees who participated in internship programs and were chosen to continue their career in the companies, will share their experience of how they chose orient toward the field of technology and how they went through the transitional period from school/ university to work.

Host and partner of the event is the National Palace of Culture. The professional organizations – Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies and “Telecommunications” Association, supported the initiative of the MTITC.

The company presented the successful projects during the recent years and trends of development of information technologies.

Company employees, who participated in the internship program and who were chosen to continue their career there, will share their experience on how they chose  ICT technologies and how they went through the transitional period from school / university to work.
