The Chairwoman of the National Assembly Tsetska Tsacheva, Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Valery Borissov and the President of "Hristo Botev" Foundation - Boyan Botiov, validated a postal - philatelic edition on the theme "140 years of the descent of Botev's detachment from the "Radetzky" ship at the Kozloduy river bank." The ceremony was held today at the Club of the Member of Parliament, at the premises of the National Assembly.

Over 25 postage stamps have been dedicated to one of the most beloved and revered national heroes of Bulgaria - Hristo Botev, said during the ceremony Deputy Minister Valery Borissov. In his words, today's edition is the third one, marking the descent of Botev's detachment from the "Radetzky" ship at the Kozloduy river bank. This historic moment was reproduced on a postage stamp in 1966 and in 2005 a child's drawing of the ship "Radetzky" adorns a special edition.

Nowadays, the message of this feat can get around the world through the newest postage stamp, said the Deputy Minister. The publication is circulated in 12,000 pieces and artist of the projects is Atanas Atanassov.
