All database on existing and planned infrastructure will be gathered within an electronic platform based on geospatial data - "Single Information Point". The project is implemented by the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) and is financed under Operational Program on "Good Governance".

The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) invites mayors from all over the country to attend the Informational day of the initiative of the Council and the European Parliament - WiFi4EU (free access to wireless internet). The purpose of the forum is to acquaint local government representatives with the opportunity to get funding for projects for free access to the World Wide Web. Pursuant to an order of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski, Directorate General Civil Aviation Administration (DG CAA) has started in the beginning of the week an overall inspection to the activity of Bulgaria Air Airline Company. The reason for the inspection has been the number of delayed flights of the Airline Company in the recent days as at present DG CAA has received over 100 complaints.

The introduction of common standards in the telecommunications of the Member States of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is being discussed. This is one of the topics of the ITU Committee meeting - Com-ITU, which takes place from 4 to 6 July 2017 in Sofia. Experts from more than 25 member states, as well as representatives of the European Commission, international and regional organizations in the field of telecommunications and ICT participate in Com-ITU.

Citizens and companies requested more than 7000 Internet names in the „bg” (“бг“) domain. Over 1500 of them were subject to analysis of conformity with the registration criteria. The first 377 Internet sites in the “bg” (“бг“) domain are already available in the global network. Separately, the Public Council to the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski approved a list of reserved over 32 000 Internet names in Cyrillic of geographic, cultural sights and governmental institutions.

The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications greeted all the persons employed in the aviation sector. The reason was the 70th Anniversary of the first flight of Bulgarian Civil Aviation. The flight was performed on Sofia-Burgas regular line. The 70th Anniversary event has taken place today at the premises of the state-owned enterprise Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Authority with the Bulgarian Airlines Association (BAA) as an organizer.

Draft of amendment and integration of the Electronic Communications Act envisages sanction from BGN 50 000 to BGN 2 000 000 for the mobile operators that break the new rules for roaming in the European Union. Concessions are good form of governance, as the assets remain state-owned, and in the same time is invested in them. At the present stage, two procedures for granting to a concession of sites of the transport infrastructure are being conducted at MTITC – for Plovdiv Airport and for Plovdiv Intermodal Terminal.
