Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications

 By order of the Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev, a staff was set up today to coordinate the actions on getting the consequences from the natural disasters, big accidents and crisis in the field of transport under control, and overcoming them.

The Deputy Minister of Transport Georgi Peterneichev leads the staff. Members of the staff are also the director of the “Crisis Management and Euro Atlantic Cooperation Directorate” in MT Alexander Sogindolski, director executive of EA “Railway Administration” Georgi Nikolov, director executive of the EA “Port Authority” Peicho Manolov, the head of GD “Civil Aviation Administration” Georgi Stoianov, the director executive of EA “Maritime Administration” captain Venzislav Ivanov, the director executive of EA “Automobile Administration” Volodia Kirov, the director general of NC “Railway Infrastructure” Dimitar Gaidarov, director executive BDZ LTD Oleg Petkov, as well the director executive of state enterprise “Transport Construction and Rehabilitation” Zvetan Gogov. As a staff secretary, the head of MD “Railway inspection” of “Executive Agency Railway Administration” Anton Burov was appointed.

In order to reduce the potential damages, solutions and urgent measures will be offered to the Ministry of Transport. The president of the staff will have the opportunity, in case of necessity, to draw more experts from the Ministry of Transport and other organizations by the fulfillment of his activities.
