MT and NC “BI-BIT” with Initiative for Student’s Safety Enhancement 14.09.2006

Paying attention to the prevention, as a factor, reducing the accidents on the road, and especially those with children, the Ministry of Transport, EA “Automobile Administration” and National Club for children safety on the road “BI-BIT” will distribute 1500 light reflecting signs to first grade pupils in a school in Lovech and in eight schools in Sofia City on the occasion of the first school day.

The initiative is targeting the smallest traffic participants, as an answer of the necessity to join the efforts of parents, teachers, and the whole society, to save the children’s life and health.

Ministry representatives will grant an address from the Minister of Transport, and the light reflecting signs at the beginning of the first school day ceremony.

The event will cover 6th, 7th, 17th, 68th, 88th, 104th and 120th schools in Sofia, where traffic safety cabinets have been created and will end in 11.45 am in “Louis Brail” school for visually impaired children – bul. “Lomsko Shosse” 117.
