Large size

On 14th January the state enterprise “Transport Building and Restoration” celebrates its professional Feast.

Prince Ferdinand founds the first militarized railway subdivision of the Bulgarian army – the railway company to the pioneer regiment in Ruse, with a decree before 118 years. This initiates the launch of differentiated kind of troops. Through the years they pass many stages of progress.

As a successor of the Ministry of Transport troops, DP TCV celebrates its 4th anniversary and many of its 1500 engineer-technical specialists are personnel, coming from Transport troops.

The company, with its sections in Sofia, Gorna Oriahovitsa, Varna, Plovdiv and Radnevo continues to be one of the main executors of railway repairs, tunnel building, and maintenance of railway infrastructure projects.

TVC participated in the emergency-reconstruction activities to the railway and road infrastructure of the country after the flood rains. Due to the excellent organization and the high qualification of the engineer-technical staff, the railway traffic of the lines Ihtiman – Nemirovo – Kostenez, Belovo – Septemvri, Drianovo – Tsareva livada was restored before the term set.
