The Minister of Transport Peter Mutafchiev opened today Mammography room in the National Transport Hospital “Tsar Boris III”. The hospital is celebrating today its patron feast.

The room is equipped with graphical mammography system Alpha RT made by the General Electric Healthcare”. It’s known with:

• high effectiveness – thanks its modern design (the model is manufactured in 2005), intuitive user interface and excellent working automation;

• perfect view in automatic and half-automatic regime, thanks the modern tube, generator and especially the hard body detector controlling the duration of the exposure;

• upgrade possibility, with an attachment for a stereotaxic biopsy;

• the capacity of the device by optimal load is about 6 patients per hour.
