Battling a serious illness the Director General of 28th Air DetachmentVenelin Rachev passed away at the age of 48 years. The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski and the management of the Ministry send their heartfelt condolences. In the minutes of silent reminiscence we honor the man and the professional for the many achievements in aviation.
Venelin Rachev was an expert with 30 years of experience in aviation. From 1985 to 1998 he worked in the 16th Transport Air Force airbase in Vrazhdebna. He started working in the 28th Air Detachment in 1998. Since 2008 he was a Chief Engineer, and since February 2015 he was appointed Director General of 28th Air Detachment.
