Bulgarian sailors in a rescue operation in the Mediterranean 04.06.2015

Bulgarian sailors sailing onboard of ship flying the Maltese flag (MT Seavalour), participated in a rescue operation in the Mediterranean region. On May 29, 2015, as a result of the specialized operation some 100 lives were saved. After the successful operation, all passengers were boarded on the ship and were taken to Sicily, where they were provided medical assistance and full support from the Italian authorities.

Executive Agency "Maritime Administration" received an official letter from the company, operator of the ship, which states that during the Bulgarian rescue operation the command staff have demonstrated high professionalism and moral qualities.
