The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski is taking part in the annual conference "TEN-T Days 2015: Connecting Europe". The event is organized by the European Commission and takes place from 22 to 23 June 2015 in the city of Riga, Latvia.

Minister Ivaylo Moskovski is attending the conference upon the invitation of the European Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc, in cooperation with Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the Minister of Transport of Latvia A. Matisse.

At the conference, ministers, Members of Parliament and other participants discuss the development of the trans-European transport network, as focus will be placed on the corridors of the core TEN-T network, their implementation and funding. Issues related to the new framework for planning and reliable tools for implementation will also be discussed, namely that the corridors of the core network could guarantee infrastructure with the highest added value for the European Union.

Minister Ivaylo Moskovski is participating in discussions on key topics related to: TEN-T: a factor for future development of the European system of mobility, innovation and new technologies: List of projects in the field of innovation - from research to real market penetration, TEN -T corridors to encourage investment for economic growth and employment and innovative financing of transport infrastructure.
