The Deputy Minister of Transport, information Technology and Communications Valery Borissov opened the second meeting of the sector ministries in the field of telecommunications of Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia on the project for connecting the telecommunications networks in the border regions of the three countries.

In June 2015, the Managing and the Technical Councils were established for the preparation of the trilateral project. The technical specifications of the networks and the possibilities for their connection were presented today.

The trilateral partnership is under MTITC’s initiative and the main objective is to provide opportunities for public institutions in the three countries to use high-speed protected telecommunication channels for exchange of information.
