The Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski ordered Executive Agency “Automobile Administration” to provide bus stations with guidelines for increasing safety and when possible restricting pedestrians walking in the areas where buses maneuver.

This comes as a result of the increase in the number of passengers in the active tourist season and the tragic accident at Yambol station, in which a bus owned by ET Rassi – Krassimir Krastev, Yambol, hit a 1,5-year-old child.

In the areas for maneuvers there should be a sign of the type В 12 – “pedestrians not allowed” and specially marked areas where passengers and other visitors are allowed. The 27 offices of EA “Automobile Administration” will provide bus station owners with the corresponding guidelines.

Minister Ivaylo Moskovski ordered a thorough inspection of the company that owns the bus involved in the accident. Parallel to this, Traffic Police are conducting an inspection to investigate the reasons for the accident.
