Geographic Information System to help MTITC in crisis management 17.11.2015
Large size

In order to improve readiness for a timely and effective response in crisis management, the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications has implemented a modern Geographical Information System (GIS) for crisis management. It will support activities for the prevention, management and analysis in crisis situations. The system is designed to automate business processes within the Ministry in case of incidents and to provide the necessary common operating status in real time.

It is built on a modular basis, based on the latest GIS technologies and allows for the input, process and management of data in a single database in real time over the Internet. The system provides features for automated preparation of reports and statements that will support decision-making and adequate preparation of analyzes in order for preventive actions to be taken.
