MTITC with an award for innovative and good practices 09.12.2015

The Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications (MTITC) received an award for innovative and good practices for the elaboration of an on-line interpretation dictionary of e-terms in Information Society. The pilot project was evaluated within the frame of the competition organized by the Institute of Public Administration, which annually nominates and evaluates useful initiatives of state institutions.

On the website of MTITC https://www.mtitc.government.bg/page.php?category=617, over 1,000 words in the fields of e-governance, economy, technology and communications have been explained in Bulgarian and English languages. Supplementation of database continues, there is an opportunity for feedback from users of the dictionary.

MTITC was awarded at a ceremony at the House of Europe (the premises of the Representation of the European Commission to Bulgaria).

The aim of the competitions is to enable sharing of best practices, innovation and learning from the experience of others. During the event representatives of the European Commission and the Operational program on  "Good Governance" presented modern tools to develop policies and the funding opportunities for innovation in the public sphere.
