Minister Ivaylo Moskovski ordered for assistance to hauliers in demand of compensation from Greece 15.02.2016

By order of the Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski MTITC will render immediate assistance to the Bulgarian hauliers demanding compensation from Greece because of the blocked border.

This issue was discussed today between Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Anton Ginev and representatives of the hauliers. They asked for logistical and legal assisstance as well as for exploration of the legislative opportunities for legal actions in Greek courts, for claims for suffered financial and economic losses.

The administration of MTITC took immediate actions to explore the opportunity for bringing such cases to court in our southern neighbor and the Bulgarian hauliers will obtain the necessary information in due course.
