Just days after the new Škoda electric multiple units began carrying passengers, one of them was spray-painted at Blagoevgrad railway station.
When the new electric multiple units entered service, Minister of Transport and Communications Georgi Peev called on citizens to take care of the new trains and public property. They have been purchased with public funds and are intended to provide more modern and comfortable travel. This is an investment for all of us, and taking care of it is a shared responsibility.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications has already notified the competent authorities so that the perpetrators can be identified and apprehended, and will continue its efforts to protect the new rolling stock.
