Automobile Administration Executive Agency and Ministry of Interior launch joint checks on school buses

Since the beginning of the month, we have done over 1000 inspections of companies that transport children and students. This was stated by the Deputy Executive Director of the Automobile Administration IA Damian Voinowski during the launch of the joint initiative of the Automobile Administration IA and the Ministry of Interior for the control of the school bus route.

"Before the start of the school year, most buses do not carry out the transportation of students, and therefore they are checked at the enterprises, with the Agency's inspectors issuing 60 prescriptions for the gaps found. There were also 7 acts of buses transporting children. The violations are related to an expired technical inspection, a continuous examination for the psychological fitness of drivers and expired qualification cards, ”explained Damian Voinowski. He said that the inspections are joint with the Ministry of Interior and will continue until the end of this month. The inspectors will monitor compliance with the requirements and whether all requirements for transportation of children and students are met, he added.
