The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology organized an information day for the "Telecommunications" sector under the Connecting Europe Facility.
There are four open calls under Work Programme 2016, the deadline for submission of proposals is December 15, 2016. The topics include Cyber Security, eInvoicing, Automated Translation and access to the digital resources of the European cultural heritage (Europeana).
In the area of Cyber Security the budget is € 12 mln. The aim is to bе supported the general services provided by national teams on Immediate Computer Emergency Response. It is expected that Member States would limit the economic and political damage from cyber attacks and reduce the total cost of security for the digital space.
In 2016 will be financed with € 2 mln. projects in the area of access to the digital resources of the Europe's cultural heritage (Europeana) to create new themed collections.
For the elaboration of projects on electronic invoicing the indicative budget is € 7 million and for continuing to build the platform for electronic translation - € 6.5 mln.
