The Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications (RCC) was established in 1991 as a regional organization of the former Soviet republics, with the main task of coordinating the activities of the relevant administrations in the field of communications.
Bulgaria participates in the organization as observer, together with the communications administrations of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, as well as the Pakistan Postal Corporation, Deutsche Telekom, Telekom Denmark, etc.
The supreme body of the RCC is the Board of the RCC Communications Administrations Heads.
The RCC is a regional organization of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
