Bulgaria and Mongolia sign agreements on road and air transport

Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Dimitar Nedyalkov and H.E. Sayanaa Lkhagvasuren, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Bulgaria, signed the Agreement on International Road Transport of Passengers and Goods and the Agreement on Air Transport. The ceremony took place at the building of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and marked an important stage in the development of transport relations between the two countries.

“These two agreements lay the foundations for direct transport connectivity between our two friendly countries. This will create favorable conditions for mobility, trade and economic growth by bringing our countries closer despite the geographical distance,” Deputy Minister Nedyalkov pointed out.

He specified that favorable conditions will be created for transport operators and transparent and equal rules will be provided for all participants. “This is a further step towards strengthening bilateral cooperation and shows how important good institutional relations between the two countries are,” Deputy Minister Nedyalkov added.

According to him, the signed agreements open a new period in transport relations between Bulgaria and Mongolia, strengthening the ties between people and businesses in both countries.
