Bulgaria will receive additional permits for transportation of goods by road to Turkey

Bulgaria will receive 50 additional single permits from Turkey for transportation of goods to/from a third country to the quota for 2017. This was agreed by the Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Anguel Popov and the Deputy Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communications of Turkey, Shaban Atlas, during a meeting in Ankara. Deputy Minister Anguel Popov expressed his gratitude to his Turkish counterpart for the good cooperation between the two countries in the field of road transport.

Topical issues related to the bilateral single permits and multiple ECMT/CEMT permits were also discussed by the two Deputy Ministers. Both sides agreed an expert-level meeting to be hold at the end of January 2018 to analyze and take decisions of mutual interest on the enforcement and interpretation of the international rules and regulations.
