The Deputy Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Dimitar Genovski granted to the mayor of Sofia Yordanka Fandakova, the award in category “Best digital city“ from the annual study of Darik radio.
“The award is a recognition that in our capital, the technologies are used for more accessible administrative services, and for greater transparency of the local policy“, said during the ceremony, the Deputy Minister Genovski. According to him, with the achieved in the field of digital technologies, Sofia is prepared to be a host of the initiatives during the forthcoming first Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Under proposal of the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications, the topics on the single digital market, cyber security and Internet management, will be the focus of the events within the frameworks of the Presidency.
