Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Murad Turk was received by Tsar Simeon II at the royal Vrana Palace. Topical topics related to the development of railway infrastructure in Bulgaria, as well as the prospects for improving connectivity in the region were discussed at the meeting.
During the conversation, Deputy Minister Turk presented the ministry's priorities in the sector, including initiatives to modernize the railway network and improve the quality of services.
Special attention was paid to the so-called "Tsarska gora" in Kazichene, as part of the efforts to preserve the historical heritage and its integration into the modern transport system.
Deputy Minister Turk invited Tsar Simeon II to visit and see the restored royal wagons, as well as to make a short trip with them.
"The preservation of historical memory in rail transport is an important part of our efforts to connect tradition with the modern development of the sector," said Murad Turk.
Deputy Minister Turk presented Tsar Simeon II with philatelic editions with the image of Tsar Boris III.
