The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications, Grozdan Karadzhov, has sent a report to the Prosecutor General regarding circulated video materials showing suspicious actions by employees of the Executive Agency "Automobile Administration" – Kyustendil, during a roadside check.
In parallel, the Deputy Prime Minister has ordered an internal inspection within the agency to establish all facts and circumstances regarding the case, and the employees have been immediately suspended pending clarification of the situation.
"Corruption has no place in the transport system, and every suspicion of such will be investigated and punished. There will be consequences for violators — without exceptions and without compromises. Anyone who thinks they can abuse their official position will face the law, and I will personally assist in this," stated Deputy Prime Minister Karadzhov.
