“You, the students, are the builders, the creators of Bulgaria's future! Today you enter the auditoriums with dreams, but tomorrow you will leave them as engineers, experts, professionals and leaders. ” With these words, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadzhov addressed the students at the opening ceremony of the academic year at the University of Telecommunications and Post.
You will build Bulgaria’s tomorrow, a country that once began with the first telegraph signals and the first post office and today has reached leading positions in digitalization and information technology. And thanks to you, I am sure it will be at the forefront of the development and implementation of artificial intelligence,” Grozdan Karadzhov said.
“Dear professors, you are the guardians of the spirit of this institution. You build character, inspire values, and set examples. For this we owe you respect and gratitude!” he emphasized.
The Deputy Prime Minister wished the students courage, perseverance and inspiration and added that tradition has meaning only when it creates a future.
During the ceremony, Grozdan Karadzhov awarded the three top graduates of the class of 2025.
The Rector of the University of Telecommunications and Post, Prof. Miglena Temelkova, presented the Deputy Prime Minister with the university’s honorary sign.
