Nearly 1,000 buses have already been inspected – road control will continue until the end of the month
From 14 August, 2025, the Executive Agency “Automobile Administration” began inspecting buses that will transport children and students during the new school year.
So far, nearly 1,000 buses with contracts for student transport have been inspected. One driver was cited for not having a valid technical inspection, and 36 orders were issued to correct discrepancies. These are mainly related to displaying “Children on Board” signs, checking fire extinguishers, changing tires, the validity of technical inspections and certificates for additional equipment inspection.
Until September 14, inspectors of the Executive Agency “Automobile Administration” will carry out preventive control in the companies that will transport students during the new school year. The main purpose is to check whether transport companies meet all the requirements and whether the buses are technically sound.
From the first day of school until the end of September, inspections will continue on the roads. The inspectors will monitor the technical condition of the buses, the validity of the documents and the implementation of the already issued orders.
The monitoring will continue throughout the school year, including during holidays, to ensure the safety of children and students while travelling.
