They will respond promptly to alerts submitted via the National Road Safety Coordination Centre – Centre 112, as well as to reports of violations submitted by other public authorities and members of the public.
Inspectors will check for compliance with technical standards, including vehicle roadworthiness, tyre wear, cargo securing, and drivers’ hours of service and rest periods. When violations are detected during roadside checks, follow-up comprehensive inspections will be carried out at the premises of the transport companies involved.
