In the modern history of Bulgarian stamp publishing, there is already an alley of fame for notable actors and artists, and today Krastyo Sarafov joins this prestigious gallery. DeputyMinister of Transport and Communications Dimitar Nedyalkov said at a ceremony to validate a philatelic edition dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Bulgarian actor's birth.
The seal for commissioning was placed together with the rector of the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts "Kr. Sarafov “ prof. Miroslav Dachev and the brand artist Prof. Lyubomir Karaleev.
"In one of his few interviews, Krastyo Sarafov said,"It is difficult to determine which is my favourite stage image, just as it is difficult for a mother to say which of her children she loves more. Perhaps it will also be difficult for us to say which postage stamp is the most valuable, but this one will certainly be among the most loved, "the Deputy Minister added.
