Minister Rossen Zhelyazkov: ATS will serve the world's largest airport in Istanbul

Since 1969, ATS has become one of Europe's leading air traffic control administrations. With 60%, ATS traffic has increased for the last few years from 2012 to 2018. Over 900,000 aircraft have been serviced and monitored for last year alone, Jeliazkov noted.

The General Director of ATS, Georgi Peev, announced that the company has taken medium and long-term measures to ensure the necessary capacity in the Bulgarian airspace. They are related to both the infrastructure and the necessary human resources - flight managers and engineers. Moreover, the company has the confidence of the neighboring countries in Bulgaria for joint projects that will ensure the service of the entire region.
