Dear Colleagues,
Dear Railway Workers,
It is my pleasure to extend my congratulations to you on the occasion of your professional holiday – Railway Workers’ Day.
Today, we pay well-deserved tribute to all those who have dedicated their knowledge, hard work and professional careers to the Bulgarian railway sector.
138 years ago, Bulgarian State Railways was established. Since then, the railway has remained an integral part of our country’s history, development and modernisation.
Then, as now, the true strength of the railway lies in its people.
No investment, no new train and no new technology can succeed without skilled, motivated and dedicated employees.
As Minister of Transport and Communications, I am convinced that efforts to modernise the sector must go hand in hand with improving working conditions, enhancing professional qualifications and attracting more young people to careers in the railway industry.
The Bulgarian railway needs continuity, the experience of its long-serving employees, and the energy and fresh ideas of young professionals.
Thank you for the dedication you demonstrate every day. Thank you for your professionalism, patience and sense of responsibility. I would also like to thank your families, who share the challenges that come with this profession.
I wish you and your loved ones good health, prosperity and strength, safe working days, confidence and the professional fulfilment you so richly deserve.
Happy Professional Holiday!
Happy Railway Workers’ Day!
