School bus inspections have been started

The Road Administration Executive Agency has started inspections of all buses transporting children and pupils before the start of the school year. This is part of measures to improve the safety and security of children and pupils.

From today until 14 September 2023, the inspectors of the Road Administration Executive Agency will carry out preventive controls in companies that will transport children in the new school year. The main purpose of this part of the inspection is to check whether the carriers meet all the requirements, as well as to pay attention to the technical condition of the vehicles and their readiness to transport pupils. If weaknesses are identified, prescriptions will be issued for their correction.

From the first day of school until 21 September, inspections will continue on the road and inspectors will monitor the technical condition of the buses, the validity and availability of the necessary documents for carrying out the transport, as well as whether the prescriptions made have been implemented.
