Eng. Boris Gerasimov holds a master's degree in electronics and automation from the Technical University of Sofia.
In the period 2018 – 2022 he was the Director of the Information and Communication Technologies Directorate at the Ministry of Education and Science. As such, he was the initiator and manager of the largest education digitalization projects in recent years. Previously, for 17 years he held the position of Head of the Information and Communication Technologies Department at the National Vocational School of Precision Engineering and Optics "M. V. Lomonosov" – Sofia.
He has a long career as a teacher and lecturer in the field of computer networks and architectures, as an instructor at the CISCO Networking Academy, and also as an expert at the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training.
